Four Reasons Why Network Marketing May Not Change Your Life

Network marketing has the potential to change your financial situation fairly quickly. I do not want to paint a picture like all the scams and hype artists on the internet would have you believe. The truth is that an extra income of three to eight hundred dollars a month would be a huge benefit to many people.An income of four to six thousand a month is attainable and this would be a replacement income for many people.Six and seven figures are possible but not attained by many people. Everyone in a bad position hopes for an easy way out of difficulties that may have taken years to pile up. Push button income and easy money is everywhere on the internet or so you are told. The fact  is that building an extra income through network marketing or direct sales can be very hard work.. if I lose you here at this fact then that is fine.It is very hard work in the beginning and I believe this is one reason why many people fail and their lives and incomes are not changed.

The hype and promise of easy money are so prevalent. Many claims of big money are true but you will not be able to replicate what these people have done to attain their success initially any way. There are also many false promises and hype. The cold hard fact is that these false promises appeal to our innate desires and lure those who are in desperate need of financial help. The people that are making tons of money from all these ideas are the ones with the skills and resources to capitalize on these basic desires. Many of these systems and schemes may work if you could duplicate the system and steps that the writers made. The fact is that 98% of people cannot, so a high percentage of people are filling the pockets of a select few. This is wrong. 

Network marketing and direct sales can change your life. Will it change your life? This is really up to you. Even though the potential is there, the most important question that you are asking is "will it change my life"? A great option is to get free network marketing training, this will speed your progress and cut the learning curve down. A true residual income and using leverage are truly the keys that we use and many of the wealthy would like to keep to themselves. The time and financial freedom that a solid residual income produces is a reality. A reality that a small percentage of people attain. The statistics say that 95 percent of people fail to reach this reality and reach profit in their network marketing endeavors. Why?

  • Lack of Knowledge
As is true with any business there is knowledge that is necessary to be successful.You can forget the push button and refer three friends to wealth programs because they are probably scams. A real business takes an amount of learning and knowledge to be successful. Think about any trade or profession, doctors, lawyers, accountants, the period of time to learn the business takes a period of time. The problem is that network marketing information is very prevalent and it is easy to get overloaded in the learning process. The beginning of a network marketing career that is successful is filled with learning the knowledge of successful people, cloning what they have done till you arrive at your own systems and methods that work for you. Save yourself years of frustration and learn what it takes for long term success.

  • Lack of Skills
Long term success will require certain skills. Look again to known trades. A carpenter starts out as an apprentice and spends many years learning before he is competent and considered a journeyman. Many more years of work and learning the skills are put in before he would be considered a master carpenter. The same is true with network marketing, it takes skills to be a big success. There are shortcuts, the problem is that a large percentage of people online claim to be network marketing experts already when very few of them are. I am no expert but I consider myself a network marketing specialist, a journeyman if you will because I have been able to build a full time income.Take advantage of the free network marketing training that we offer. I have found a system that is duplicatable to anyone that will spend the time to learn, it cuts the skills and knowledge learning curve significantly. Take the time to get the knowledge and learn the skills, realize that this is part of the process.

  • Lack of  Capital to Get to Profit
This is where many people jump ship or get on board another one in network marketing. They start with a company paying a monthly auto ship and think that the world will flock to them for their fantastic products. Spending money on leads, training and anything else that looks like it will help with NO REAL PLAN. No plan is a bad plan and down the road they are just poorer for the experience. Not able to make any money with their great opportunity and products they move to another business, then another one and most at some point quit. It takes time and or money to build any real business, I started mine with just time and little money. Plan to use the capital that you do have whether time or money to start and realize it may take a significant financial and time commitment to reach your goals. Have a goal and plan to get there. If you run short before you reach your goal. do not quit but continue to do what you can and take consistent daily action to get to your goals.

  • Lack of Perseverance
Quitting before you reach your goal. Many people did not have a goal and no measurable progress and will become discouraged. It actually was two years of consistently working with one company before it started getting easier. People that know you will wait and watch until they are sure that this is something that will stand up over time. Small goals to start out with can change this for your business. Make small yet attainable goals that will make you stretch yet be rewarding to attain. Take your large income goals and needs and split them up into smaller yet attainable goals. Every sponsor’s goal should be to get your down line into profit as quick as possible, help them to establish small, stretching and attainable goals. Celebrate when we achieve them and start working towards the next goal. If you set your mind to it and do not quit then you will reach your goals and probably do more than you would have expected in the beginning.

 Only you can answer the question of "will network marketing change my life?" It has drastically changed our lives, and  I know if you address the issues that stop most people you have a good chance at increasing your income and building a real business. Get the knowledge and skills by being mentored by people that are all ready successful, get your business in the black as quick as possible, keep going when things get tough and network marketing WILL change your life.

  3. Hi Ken, thanks for sharing why network marketing may not change someone's life. Patience, coaching, resilience are very important when starting out. It is also important to persevere and not go into any opportunity with a get rich quick mentality.

    Interesting viewpoint here.


    I am from the UK, so perhaps things are different here, or perhaps I just got luck with our group, our upline.

    we have been in ten years plus now, earning a full time income, for us both, and building a team too.

    In our group,we say, there is a system. we teach the system. New people get told about the system straight away. we say, work with your upline, if you can't, because they are new too, or you don't get on, go up and up until you find the one who you can work with.


    After ten years, and or sponsor retiring, and another dropping out, we are now front level to the leaders we ended up working with, because we went up and up....

    Thy hold the meetings, and training courses.
    Now, distance scale is so much difference here in the UK compared to elsewhere.... Our uplines are now about 20 miles away, literally 20 - 25 mins away. (and yes some will complain at that!

    Another above them, about 50 miles away, and we go to her meetings too, and then the last before the company, would be about 175 miles away, which is "just too far" for us in our little country to go to meetings!

    Now and again a good book comes along, and it is suggested we read a copy, but normally we cover all training in house.

    Are we lucky, or do your networks not cover the bases enough, OR, do people still look for a short cut, an easy option, which is going to be in the NEXT info product I buy, in the next course, or locked in a new group's archives?
